399 Park Ave

Prestigious location with history

399 Park Avenue is a 41-story, 524-foot office skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan, occupying a full city block between Park Avenue and Lexington Avenue, and 53rd and 54th Streets. Completed in 1961, it was designed by Carson & Lundin in collaboration with Kahn & Jacobs and originally commissioned by First National Bank, later serving as the world headquarters for Citigroup until 2015.

Today, the property is owned by Boston Properties, which acquired it in 2002 for over $1 billion in what was then a record-breaking transaction. Since then, the building has undergone significant upgrades, including lobby and façade renovations, modernized elevators, and the addition of landscaped terraces such as the “Oasis in the Sky.” The tower has also achieved LEED Gold certification for its sustainability efforts.

399 Park Avenue remains one of New York’s most prestigious business addresses, home to leading financial and professional firms along the Park Avenue corporate corridor.
